Week 1 – Tips re Credit Cards
Week one of Fraud Prevention month was about what you can do to help prevent Credit Card Fraud. Data Breaches are considered the third certainty in life. To mitigate this:
- don’t let anyone store your CC data on a system unless they are PCI certified
- don’t store your CC data on spreadsheets or pieces of paper
- do change your passwords often
- do shred anything with confidential on it
- do shred old/unused CC
- do review your bills for suspicious activity
