Back to Reality – but on a diet.

Summer 2016 is quickly coming to a close – meaning back to school, back to work, new projects, new employees, and even new clients.  September is also when many of us slip back into old routines however; it can be a perfect time to improve upon the status quo.

Here are some easy ideas to help your office operate more effectively with less clutter:

  1. Schedule a weekly – 30-minute paper purge. It really helps to reduce paper clutter. Do it yourself, in a group or delegate, but make it part of your weekly tasks. It will only take a few times before you see true results and the scheduled purge will become as automatic as wearing a seat belt. Refer to our earlier blog post for suggestions on how to tackle the unwanted paper chaos.
  1. Set up a Shred Cart or Slimboy in your office for all those sensitive documents that should be destroyed with care. This is an effective way to ensure more Zen in your office this Fall!
  1. And if your office is growing in numbers and years, there is a good chance the amount of paper you are storing (old tax docs etc.) is also growing. Consider storing what you don’t need access to on a daily basis, at our off site secure facility. (But what if I need a file all of sudden!?!? – We deliver files Monday – Friday during business hours and offer Emergency file delivery options!)

Pssst – We’ve also rejigged our hours for the fall – as of September 1st we are open 9-5 Monday through Friday and have also added Saturday shredding drop offs every 3rd Saturday of the month from 9am – 12pm. Let us help you ease back into reality this Fall!
